Museum of Everyone, Open Call curated by Brendan Fox launches on Culture night Friday 18th September 2020 in association with Creative Ireland, Offaly County Council and the National Arts Council of Ireland.
Foundations MOE programme aims to engage with artists, groups and the public by developing an active platform for creativity within the local community of Tullamore during the construction period of Tullamore Art Centre. Through vital collaborative practices and an understanding of the need for connection, MOE will be defined by the necessities of the community and its contemporary urgencies. Perhaps now more than ever we need to consider how we may connect as a community through the arts. The Museum of Everyone is a platform for potential, collaboration, original thinking and action. Our ethos is simple, if you support your community your community in return will support you.
Museum of Everyone invites applications from artists or collectives seeking to work or collaborate with the community of Tullamore County Offaly. The objective of the Foundations MOE Award is to support individual professional artists or collectives whose practice centres on socially engaged projects and collaborative practices with non-artists. Applicants must have a track record of working collaboratively with groups and have the ability to forge and develop an engaging and dynamic project in the current restrictive climate. Projects may seek to work with particular individuals/groups/organisations or may take a more holistic approach. Consider diversity, inclusivity, community, interactivity and be ambitious.
The successful Applicant will receive:
